Marcio Migliorisi is a Creative Director and Copywriter with over 15 years of experience in LATAM and the US market.
In LATAM he has worked for Publicis Impetu, Grey, Euro RSCG, and as General Creative Director in McCann Erickson Uruguay. He was recognized with awards in Uruguayan, regional, and international advertising festivals. Also, he has led the creative strategy and development for major brands such as Coca Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Nestlé, General Motors, MasterCard, L’Oréal, American Airlines, and Johnson&Johnson.
Marcio Migliorisi has taught advertising workshops in Uruguay and abroad, as Academic Director at Brother Creativity School, Professor at the Catholic University of Uruguay, and Lecturer for the advertising guild “Círculo Uruguayo de la Publicidad”.
In 2009, he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to pursue an MFA in Writing and Directing for Film and TV at NYFA. As a Filmmaker, his short film "Drowned" screened in over 20 prestigious film festivals: Newport Beach Film Festival, San Diego Film Festival, New Filmmakers LA, Austin Film Festival, among others.
For the US Hispanic market, he worked for MundoFOX and ESPN, developing the strategy and creative pieces of up-fronts, co-branded initiatives, and launching campaigns for TV shows and Series.
As Bilingual Creative Director/copy, at the Multicultural agency Walton Isaacson, he had the opportunity to collaborate to move forward the conversation on diversity and inclusion in the industry. Among other projects, he created stories for brands like Lexus; a client that granted him the honor of working on a 360 brand partnership with the groundbreaking Marvel's Studios Black Panther movie.
Currently, he keeps learning about advertising and entertainment as a Freelance Creative Director. Develops strategies and stories with relevant cultural impact. Oversees and works with multidisciplinary teams in all sorts of formats, like a TV Series about immigration in South America, and a regional campaign to generate a cultural shift on the need for renewable energies in Argentina and Uruguay. At the same time as Head of International Affairs of the Uruguayan Film and Audiovisual Agency (ACAU) he is in charge of promoting and positioning the Uruguayan audiovisual content worldwide.
